Shop, snack, and savour food delights at Daventry Farmers Market
Daventry Town Council are delighted to bring their first Farmers’ Market to Daventry on Saturday 19th September between 10am – 4pm. We have over 30 stallholders selling food and drink related products that you can take away with you on the day to eat, drink, cook, prepare, or use at home.
Come along to tantalise your taste buds and get your creative cooking juices flowing!
We have traders to satisfy all food tastes and dietary requirements including cured meats, olives, spices, fish, pies, breads, pastries, jams, chutneys, fudges, cookies, ice cream and the list goes on. Equally, if you are feeling thirsty, we have many drinks stalls too offering ciders, beers, wines, and gins galore for you to take home with you.
Mayor of Daventry, Cllr Lynne Taylor, is looking forward to a fantastic day and said, “After having to rightfully cancel several of our events from earlier in the year we are now thrilled to be able to host the Farmers Market. We are welcoming traders from Northamptonshire and beyond to share their produce with the town, and the variety of stalls is great”
The market will take place on the High Street, which will be closed on the day to traffic. Traders will be spread out along the whole of the street to allow for social distancing. But we ask residents to please remember:
– Be Kind and remember to keep your social distance
– Follow the government guidelines relating to covid-19
– Do not attend if you are shielding, self-isolating or have Covid-19 symptoms
Please note: Stalls and products subject to change without prior notice.
We are excited to see everyone at the market and fingers crossed for a good forecast!
