Charwelton Children Open Charity Cake Stall for Oz Fires
This morning Events Correspondent Amanda Hart was driving through Charwelton when she saw some children had set up a cake stall. Curiosity got the better of her so she decided to turn the car around and investigate!

“When I returned, I discovered that these amazing children (supervised by mum) wanted to help the animals that had been displaced or hurt in the Australian fires so were raising money for the WWF.”
“To see our young generation care so much really touched my heart, and the cakes really touched my taste buds! They were yummy!”

Please support Harriet, Arthur, Jensen and Henry if you are passing through Charwelton and see these incredible children set up at the side of the road!
Daventry Radio love stories like this to show that there are good people in the world! If you have a similiar story, please get in touch and share the sunshine!
We would also like to commend these children for what they are doing and will be in touch soon to find out how they did!
If you can’t get to the cakes (we hear they are almost gone!) you can still help by donating here.
